Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Praca FC's Oliveira Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Antunes in the 3rd minute of play. Oliveira Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Oliveira Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Praca FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Henrique Porto hit a great ball. Adelino Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Praca FC booed when SC Tonda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Costa having to interfere. In the 35th minute, SC Tonda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Reis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 38 minutes into the match, SC Tonda's goalkeeper Domingos Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Reis. 40 minutes into the game, Pedro Assis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Tonda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Praca FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Tonda getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pedro Assis hit a great ball. Adelino Araújo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Domingos Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praca FC. The supporters of SC Tonda booed when Praca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Américo Sousa was the one to do the kick off. André Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. If André Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tonda's zone, Adelino Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Costa came out of the goal and Adelino Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Adelino Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, André Reis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Tonda's Domingos Costa. Domingos Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Tonda! Cândido Lisboa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Oliveira Abreu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Tonda's Henrique Antunes. But to his dismay, Henrique Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. André Reis struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Domingos Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praca FC. If André Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Henrique Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Praca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
