Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Neves got the match started through his kick off. Tejao's Bernardo Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Marques in the 8th minute of play. Alberto Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Pedro Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campeiros's Cristiano Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tejao getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Pedro Sá hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Raul Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Ramos was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. André Amaral hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pedro Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Marques went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ricardo Gomes's late challenge caught a Tejao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tejao booed when Campeiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campeiros's Pedro Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Marques in the 33rd minute of play. Raul Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ramos having to interfere. Alberto Santarém was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Bernardo Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Raul Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ramos having to interfere. Campeiros's Pedro Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Neves in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tejao's Bernardo Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Ramos. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. Pedro Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Neves in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Tejao's Bernardo Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Ramos. Pedro Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Pedro Ramos came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tejao's Raul Marques. But to his dismay, Raul Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Pedro Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Neves in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Tejao could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Campeiros throughout the match.
