Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Heitor Gueifão started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Manuel Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gontinho FC's Manuel Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Heitor Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeu Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fernando Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Dantas having to interfere. If Carlos Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Telheiros's goalkeeper Fernando Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Amaral. In the 42nd minute Heitor Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Dantas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ricardo Machado. After 48 minutes, Cristiano Moniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Telheiros and the Gontinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Telheiros getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Cristiano Moniz hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Rodrigues made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Telheiros got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Assunção. In the 64th minute, João Rodrigues fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Rocha, passed just outside the right post. Heitor Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Gontinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Machado. Carlos Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. David Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telheiros. The Telheiros players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gontinho FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
