Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gonçalo Macedo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute Gonçalo Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Gonçalo Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Soares was a little too slow when Filipe Martins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gonçalo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Manuel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Bruno Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ferreira having to interfere. José Morais scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Filipe Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Martins in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Montouto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Martins came free, but Carlos Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Martins made a kick off. Gonçalo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Filipe Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Filipe Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sesmo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Carlos Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sesmo FC booed when Montouto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Carlos Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Montouto FC's zone, Filipe Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Soares came out of the goal and Filipe Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Manuel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sesmo FC's Manuel Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Macedo in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gonçalo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montouto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Macedo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Manuel Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montouto FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Montouto FC's Gonçalo Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Ferreira. That made the score 2-2 after 96 minutes of play.
