Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Nunes started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Filipe Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meimao FC's Cláudio Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meimao FC's Cláudio Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Martins in the 13th minute of play. Diogo Faro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Tomás Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, Meimao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Costa to maneuver through the defense. When Bruno Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sesmo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Filipe Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Correia having to interfere. Manuel Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Henriques lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sesmo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Meimao FC. Tomás Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Ferreira. 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Bernardo Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meimao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sesmo FC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Meimao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meimao FC's Pedro Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ferreira having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Nunes in the 91st minute of the match. Jacinto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ferreira having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Pedro Cunha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacinto Nunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Meimao FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pedro Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Meimao FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
