Óscar Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Amadeu Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Valente having to make a save. After 19 minutes of play, Pedacais's David Morais made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Pedacais's Fernando Moreira got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, David Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pastor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedacais the free kick. A collision led to Pastor getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. David Abreu hit a great ball. Óscar Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pastor's goalkeeper Joaquim Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Óscar Mota came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pedacais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Mota couldn't finish the play. David Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Pedacais were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Morais was the one to do the kick off. Óscar Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Óscar Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pastor's Joaquim Leão got control of the ball when Óscar Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor's Joaquim Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Morais in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Amadeu Bessa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Valente. Pedacais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu Bessa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Amadeu Bessa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Simão Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pastor. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Pedacais's Óscar Amaral got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joaquim Leão. With his leg Joaquim Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Pedacais's Óscar Mota fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute David Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Valente having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pedacais walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
