After a rather tough play, Bucos's Armando Aleixo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Cláudio Esteves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bucos's Humberto Veiga. Humberto Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute Rui Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when António Reis made the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Esteves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Adelino Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute António Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Matias got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rui Gueifão charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Gueifão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Mesquita getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rui Gueifão hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
