Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Bessa started the match with the kick off. Cristiano Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Nunes having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, SC Algeraz's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Guarda came free, but Miguel Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Marques having to make a save. If Manuel Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Bessa's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Manuel Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Viegas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Emílio Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caramujo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Marques having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SC Algeraz's Mário Gaspar got a free kick in the 41st minute. Caramujo FC's Cristiano Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, one of SC Algeraz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Algeraz. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emílio Guarda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Algeraz booed when Caramujo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Algeraz's Gonçalo Dias tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Miguel Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Costa in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Emílio Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Bessa in the 70th minute of the match. Cristiano Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Miguel Nunes made a huge save. After 76 played minutes SC Algeraz got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Viegas. Caramujo FC's Adelino Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Garcia in the 82nd minute of play. Miguel Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Guarda in the 85th minute of the match. Manuel Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Adelino Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Garcia in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caramujo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Algeraz.
