He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rui Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If João Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luís Moura came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Talasnas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Moura couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Luís Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Albertino Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lousada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Bessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carlos Marques came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lousada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Marques couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
