Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Fonseca kicked off to start the match. Afonso Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Domingos Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Constantina got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Costa. Afonso Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Abela FC's Domingos Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Joel Lisboa fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Constantina's protests and gave Joel Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Constantina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Eusébio Costa was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes Constantina got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Costa. Augusto Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Viana made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Afonso Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Resende struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eduardo Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constantina. Emílio Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 played minutes Abela FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Lima. Alfredo Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Fonseca hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Abela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
