Thanks to some nice moves Rogério Matos could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which José Domingues however easily saved by the left post.

With a little luck, SC Mangona's Paulo Lima got control of the ball when Jorge Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
