Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliveira Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nuno Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Setúbal having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, SC Assequins's António Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Setúbal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Setúbal came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Assequins's Delfim Correia. But to his dismay, Delfim Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. José Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Costa in the 16th minute of the match. If Oliveira Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Nuno Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes, André Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douro FC and the SC Assequins players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Gil Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Setúbal came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Assequins's Nuno Morais. But to his dismay, Nuno Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half SC Assequins were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 74th minute António Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Oliveira Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Afonso Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Alfredo Nogueira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Douro FC's Miguel Setúbal didn't even have to move. José Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Delfim Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Assequins and the Douro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delfim Correia hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 98 minutes of play, Douro FC's Oliveira Costa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Assequins walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
