Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Queirós kicked off to start the match. Sebastião Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Faria having to interfere. If Sebastião Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quadrazais's David Gonçalves got a free kick in the 15th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Afonso Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rui Cabral. Afonso Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. André Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Antunes in the 26th minute of play. When Catarino Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Alvendre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Antunes couldn't finish the play. Alvendre's Sebastião Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Catarino Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Queirós in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Catarino Antunes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Quadrazais getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Óscar Faro hit a great ball. Eusébio Leão hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. André Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Antunes in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Afonso Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Afonso Queirós notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Alvendre's Rui Cabral. Rui Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvendre's Sebastião Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quadrazais's André Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Antunes in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Jorge Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quadrazais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvendre the free kick. A collision led to Quadrazais getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jorge Mendes hit a great ball. Catarino Antunes struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. André Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvendre. David Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Cabral having to interfere. Quadrazais's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
