When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Lima made a kick off. Catarino Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but André Machado made a huge save. Rui Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Aroeiras FC's Rui Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Bessa in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Catarino Ferro took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for André Machado to make any attempt to save it. André Machado came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Aroeiras FC's Filipe Domingues. But to his dismay, Filipe Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Aroeiras FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Filipe Domingues hit a great ball. Joaquim Branco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aroeiras FC's goalkeeper Rui Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Machado came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 79th minute. Catarino Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. André Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Machado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. With his leg André Machado managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Aroeiras FC's Catarino Ferro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Machado made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Manuel Lima sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aroeiras FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
