Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SC Rubiaes's Joaquim Borges got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience was convinced that João Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Tavares was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute of the match Fervenca FC got a corner. SC Rubiaes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Torres ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Fervenca FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Carlos Brás hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Assunção in the 14th minute of play forced Fervenca FC's goalkeeper Albertino Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fervenca FC's João Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Nogueira in the 21st minute. Hélder Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Albertino Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. SC Rubiaes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 36 minutes of play, Fervenca FC's João Faria made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélder Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Amaro having to interfere.

Eusébio Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Fernando Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rubiaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Oliveira in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Tavares saved SC Rubiaes from getting behind. SC Rubiaes's David Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Rubiaes from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, SC Rubiaes's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Brás came free, but David Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Tavares was a little too slow when Alexandre Oliveira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. When Fernando Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SC Rubiaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Paulo Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, one of SC Rubiaes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Rubiaes. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Fervenca FC's Eusébio Torres got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Tavares. When Fernando Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SC Rubiaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Nogueira couldn't finish the play. The Fervenca FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
