Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Ferro kicked off to start the match. Jorge Pedroso came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Samouco's José Ferro. But to his dismay, José Ferro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Nuno Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Trindade in the 10th minute of play forced Samouco's goalkeeper Pedro Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Nuno Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Carcua's Jorge Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Samouco's goalkeeper Pedro Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Amaro. In the 19th minute Nuno Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bento Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pedro Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Amaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Amorim made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Samouco's Lúcio Fontes got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes, SC Carcua's Amadeu Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Carcua reached it. José Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Samouco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bento Trindade to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Carcua booed when Samouco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Amaro in the 58th minute of play forced Samouco's goalkeeper Pedro Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Torres succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 63rd playminute. Sebastião Faria hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bento Trindade in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Amorim saved Samouco from getting behind. If Nuno Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samouco's Pedro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Trindade in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute José Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pedro Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Alexandre Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, João Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carcua's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
