Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Bessa started the match with the kick off. Nuno Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th match minute, Samouco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Ferro to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Nuno Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute José Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, José Ferro made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Carvalho. Moncao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Miguel Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Nuno Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Carvalho having to interfere. Nuno Torres struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Miguel Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samouco. Nuno Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Carvalho having to interfere. With a little luck, Samouco's Pedro Amorim got control of the ball when André Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, José Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samouco's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Ferro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Carvalho having to interfere. Miguel Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Ferro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Ferro in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samouco's Pedro Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Samouco from getting a goal against them. Nuno Bessa struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncao FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Ferro made a kick off. The supporters of Samouco booed when Moncao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ferro in the 53rd minute of the match. Manuel Moniz's late challenge caught a Samouco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Moniz helped the player get up and apologised. Samouco were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Moncao FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raul Nogueira took the corner. After taking down the ball on Samouco's corner Henrique Moutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Carvalho quite easily take care of the ball. Miguel Carvalho was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Nuno Torres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nuno Torres really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Nuno Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Amorim having to interfere. Pedro Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Pedro Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Moncao FC were awarded a corner. Jacinto Pinho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Moncao FC's Emanuel Sá to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Samouco's José Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Moncao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Barros to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Pereira in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Samouco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
