Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Funchosa's Diamantino Fernandes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, SC Funchosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Pombeiro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abel Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Jorge Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, one of SC Pombeiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Funchosa a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bruno Alves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Pombeiro's Lucas Macedo. 0-1. Lucas Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Fernandes in the 40th minute of play. The SC Pombeiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Funchosa were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. SC Funchosa's Diogo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Valente in the 54th minute of play. Diogo Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vítor Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Funchosa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alexandre Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Bento Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Funchosa's Diogo Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, SC Funchosa's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Teixeira came free, but Diogo Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Pombeiro getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. André Amaro hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play, SC Pombeiro's Bento Teixeira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Paredes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Jorge Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Lucas Macedo made a huge save. Diamantino Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Macedo having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, SC Pombeiro's goalkeeper Lucas Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Reis. Alexandre Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Funchosa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
