When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sérgio Gueifão made a kick off. Sérgio Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Maia having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Carlos Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pincho and the Boco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pincho's Carlos Vale got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Nunes in the 63rd minute of play forced Pincho's goalkeeper Júlio Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Vale hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Viriato Nunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Guarda. Viriato Nunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The Boco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
