Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Martins took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Alexandre Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Sardoura's Joaquim Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Joaquim Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Dantas had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Assunção's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 16 played minutes SC Lancao got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Araújo. After 17 played minutes SC Lancao got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Pacheco. Alexandre Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Henrique Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pacheco having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Alexandre Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, SC Lancao's Eduardo Araújo tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Alexandre Assis made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Dantas. SC Lancao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of SC Lancao booed when SC Sardoura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henrique Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 53rd minute, Manuel Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Paulo Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Martins in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Lancao's goalkeeper Paulo Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
