Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when António Marques kicked off to start the match. António Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rui Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Humberto Azevedo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Limarinho's Paulo Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If António Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play. Humberto Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Torrados's goalkeeper Rui Viegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, António Marques fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rui Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Américo Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Guarda made a kick off. Torrados's Filipe Esteves pulled a muscle in his leg after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lúcio Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Lúcio Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Humberto Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. António Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Lúcio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Limarinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Henrique Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Limarinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torrados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 82nd minute, António Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute António Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, António Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Limarinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 94 played minutes SC Limarinho got a freekick which was hit by Rui Cruz. When Humberto Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Torrados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Azevedo couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
