One of Medonha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Cutama:s goal. Daniel Valente had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Ferreira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience was convinced that Bruno Viegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Valente was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Abel Antunes struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vicente Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medonha. Abel Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Teixeira to make the kick off. Daniel Valente made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Heitor Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Abel Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Antunes in the 65th minute of the match. Vicente Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vicente Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Pires's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Bruno Viegas struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Daniel Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cutama. The supporters of Medonha booed when SC Cutama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes SC Cutama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente Carvalho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Vicente Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Freitas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Medonha getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abel Azevedo hit a great ball. Viriato Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
