Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amoroso FC's José Andrade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeu Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Macores getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Amadeu Teixeira hit a great ball. Sebastião Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Macores's goal looked a bit too open when José Andrade came free, but Albertino Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Andrade in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertino Miranda was a little too slow when José Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Paulo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Silva scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albertino Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Amadeu Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Albertino Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Leão made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Amoroso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bernardo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macores's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Amoroso FC's Gil Carvalho got control of the ball when Bernardo Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertino Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Andrade in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Sebastião Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amoroso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fernando Lisboa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Macores! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Amoroso FC. Paulo Pinto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albertino Miranda. 4-0. Bernardo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gil Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gil Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Macores players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amoroso FC.
