Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bernardo Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but António Lopes made a huge save. Bernardo Leão struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. António Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macores. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rogério Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macores's Albertino Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Leão got free with António Lopes in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ricardo Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Escudeiros's protests and gave Ricardo Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, SC Escudeiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Lopes having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Inácio Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Albertino Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Veiga's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Melo made a kick off. Bernardo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. António Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Bernardo Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. António Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Veiga in the 71st minute of play. Manuel Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Rogério Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertino Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Fernando Lisboa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Macores's Albertino Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Melo in the 90th minute of play. Rogério Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Albertino Miranda made a huge save. Macores were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Escudeiros for a fine match.
