Casarias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Frazao FC's Fernando Silva got a free kick in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Frazao FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Lima came free, but Tomás Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Azevedo having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Frazao FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Silva. In the 32nd minute Lúcio Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Viana was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Frazao FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Viana. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Lima got free with Tomás Azevedo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Azevedo having to interfere. The supporters of Casarias booed when Frazao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, André Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Azevedo. Frazao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Casarias's André Lima got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lúcio Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Xavier Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Diamantino Campos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Casarias's Xavier Borba. Xavier Borba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Lima struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Tomás Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casarias. Jorge Monteiro in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Azevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Frazao FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Casarias's Xavier Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Viana in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Frazao FC's Hugo Campos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Jorge Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Jorge Monteiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomás Azevedo, 2-3. The Frazao FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Casarias's performance. The match ended with a win for Casarias.
