Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Miranda kicked off to start the match. Carlos Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luís Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Miranda in the 15th minute of play. Luís Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Miranda in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Taipinhas's zone, Alberto Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Mota came out of the goal and Alberto Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Mota took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Fonseca. Marco Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Taipinhas's Jorge Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Joudina's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Mota came free, but Marco Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Joudina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Teixeira couldn't finish the play. Taipinhas's Luís Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Taipinhas from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Pires to make the kick off. Joudina's Marco Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Pires in the 53rd minute of play. Joudina's Marco Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Joudina from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Joudina's Rodrigo Magalhães got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bernardo Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Fonseca having to interfere. Eduardo Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes in the game, Adolfo Pires dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 84th minute, Bernardo Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Alberto Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Joudina got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Lisboa. Simão Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Alberto Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adolfo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Taipinhas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
