Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Erada FC's Alberto Tavares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Erada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pires came free, but Nuno Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Borges got free with José Dantas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tavares in the 21st minute of play forced Cavada's goalkeeper José Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Jacinto Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Borges's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, José Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute Duarte Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alberto Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. José Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Cláudio Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. José Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Erada FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cristóvão Moniz hit a great ball. Fernando Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Pires struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Nuno Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavada. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Pires made a kick off. When Cláudio Borges came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Erada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Borges couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tavares in the 55th minute of play forced Cavada's goalkeeper José Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cavada's José Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tavares in the 59th minute of play. José Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Erada FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Borges. 69 minutes into the match, Erada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pires came free, but Nuno Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Erada FC's goalkeeper Nuno Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Coelho. With a little luck, Erada FC's Nuno Araújo got control of the ball when Duarte Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Duarte Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game Fernando Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erada FC's Nuno Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alberto Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Erada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tavares couldn't finish the play. José Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erada FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
