Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Vieira started the match with the kick off. Afonso Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amílcar Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Marques in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cimbres FC's Rui Ramos got a free kick in the 9th minute. José Carneiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Cimbres FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Vieira. In the 17th minute, Cimbres FC's Afonso Aguiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jorge Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Aguiar got free with Jorge Azevedo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Resende having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Cimbres FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vicente Esteves hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Joaquim Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bernardo Branco fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cimbres FC's protests and gave Bernardo Branco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Achete FC booed when Cimbres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Achete FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joaquim Vieira hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Miguel Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Nogueira scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amílcar Resende made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Bernardo Marques sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Vieira got free with Amílcar Resende in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bento Pereira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jorge Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Nogueira in the 88th minute of the match. Miguel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jorge Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Monteiro during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Álvaro Monteiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jorge Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Bernardo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Resende having to interfere. The Cimbres FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
