With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Marques in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Soares saved SC Legacao from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Aguiar during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Legacao getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. André Aguiar hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, José Carneiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Legacao's Jorge Soares didn't even have to move. If Mariano Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Achete FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joaquim Vieira hit a great ball. Jorge Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Domingues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jorge Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Joaquim Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Bernardo Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Vieira in the 36th minute of play forced SC Legacao's goalkeeper Jorge Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jorge Azevedo made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Achete FC's Bernardo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Rogério Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Nunes, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Marques took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge Soares. Jorge Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 73rd minute, Mariano Assunção made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Azevedo. Achete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mariano Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Legacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lúcio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mariano Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Legacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Assunção couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Soares having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Soares was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When André Aguiar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, SC Legacao's André Aguiar got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
