An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Cruz in the 33rd minute of play forced Cogominho FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Carlos Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cogominho FC's Rodrigo Santarém got control of the ball when Paulo Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SC Alburitel getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bento Moniz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cogominho FC's Rogério Neves tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulo Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Carlos Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Daniel Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cogominho FC. The supporters of SC Alburitel booed when Cogominho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
