Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Delgado started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Lourenço Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bananeiras and the Tabuaco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Bananeiras got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Queirós. Duarte Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Moreira in the 7th minute of the match. When %teams%'s Rafael Delgado was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 11 minutes into the game. Viriato Ferro was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Bananeiras's Duarte Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Cardoso in the 14th minute of play. Duarte Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 played minutes Rafael Delgado rounded Tabuaco FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. If Inácio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Tabuaco FC's Lourenço Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Resende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tabuaco FC's zone, Inácio Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viriato Ferro came out of the goal and Inácio Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Resende came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tabuaco FC's Hugo Cardoso. But to his dismay, Hugo Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lourenço Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Viriato Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alexandre Resende fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bananeiras's protests and gave Alexandre Resende a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Bananeiras got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Resende. Duarte Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Moreira in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Bananeiras getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alexandre Resende hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Tabuaco FC's António Neto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Rafael Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bananeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rafael Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Resende scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Ferro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lourenço Queirós was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Hugo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Duarte Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Tabuaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Martins came free, but Viriato Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tabuaco FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Bananeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Neto took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Oliveira Brás heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bananeiras had played much better football throughout.
