The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zibreira's zone, Emanuel Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Barbosa came out of the goal and Emanuel Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Rui Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zibreira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cavalinho the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Zibreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 26thth minute of the game Joel Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zibreira's Cristiano Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Zibreira got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Melo. Cristiano Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zibreira booed when SC Cavalinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Zibreira getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alexandre Magalhães hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Veiga was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zibreira's goalkeeper Cristiano Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Campos. After 53 minutes of play Zibreira's Rui Silva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Joel Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Zibreira's Cristiano Barbosa got control of the ball when Emanuel Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Viriato Amaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Barbosa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SC Cavalinho booed when Zibreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Zibreira's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Amaro came free, but Cristiano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Amaro, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Emanuel Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
