Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Veiga started the match with the kick off. Zibreira's Cristiano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mendes in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Algaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Brás to maneuver through the defense. Algaz's Rui Viegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Algaz from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Inácio Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inácio Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zibreira's zone, Alexandre Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Barbosa came out of the goal and Alexandre Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alexandre Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cristiano Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Macedo in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viriato Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Viegas having to make a save. In the 54th minute of the match António Gueifão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Viegas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Algaz's Rui Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Veiga in the 55th minute of play. When Viriato Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Zibreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Veiga couldn't finish the play. If Inácio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Veiga in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Viegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Zibreira's Viriato Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Viegas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rui Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Ribeiro in the 85th minute of the match. Cristiano Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rui Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viriato Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Viegas having to interfere. Zibreira were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
