Óscar Viegas scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Paredes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sevivas FC's Cristiano Valente shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 19th minute Gabriel Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Valente hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes, SC Maragaia's Joaquim Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Álvaro Trindade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Maragaia reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Sevivas FC's zone, Óscar Viegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Trindade came out of the goal and Óscar Viegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Cândido Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Maragaia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 37 played minutes SC Maragaia got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Carvalho. Cristiano Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Paredes having to interfere. Óscar Viegas scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half SC Maragaia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Óscar Viegas was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Maragaia's Óscar Viegas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Álvaro Trindade. That made the score 1-4 after 54 minutes of play. Amadeu Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cristiano Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Paredes having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sevivas FC's Heitor Neto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 67th minute Gabriel Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Sevivas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Pinho, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Valente during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Sevivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Valente. After 76 played minutes Sevivas FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Valente. 77 minutes into the match, Sevivas FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Trindade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cândido Lopes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cândido Lopes got free with Álvaro Trindade in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cândido Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Gabriel Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Óscar Viegas struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Álvaro Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Maragaia. Sevivas FC's Cristiano Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Maragaia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
