The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óscar Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Maragaia's zone, João Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Paredes came out of the goal and João Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58thth minute of the game João Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Maragaia's Alexandre Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Maragaia's zone, Rafael Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Paredes came out of the goal and Rafael Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Argamassa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Rafael Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Argamassa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Fontes couldn't finish the play. If Cândido Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óscar Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, SC Maragaia's goalkeeper Alexandre Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Fontes. Argamassa were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after SC Maragaia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rui Amaral took the corner. After taking down the ball on Argamassa's corner Rui Amaral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexandre Paredes quite easily take care of the ball.
