Ricardo Cabral struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Alexandre Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Poeiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Viegas in the 21st minute of play forced SC Poeiros's goalkeeper Joaquim Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Borba in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. SC Maragaia's Alexandre Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Ferro in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Poeiros getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ricardo Cabral hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Poeiros's zone, Cândido Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Macedo came out of the goal and Cândido Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Cândido Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Cândido Lopes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Macedo, passed just outside the right post. In the 97th match minute, SC Maragaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Paredes having to interfere.
