But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Pereira couldn't finish the play. Mário Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Pereira made a kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Emanuel Figueiredo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joaquim Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sandro Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes SC Azinheira got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Brito. If Paulo Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prova FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
