In the 29th minute of the match Joaquim Dantas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arrimal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Vítor Leite scored to the left of an out of position Américo Reis, making the score, 1-0. Manuel Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Coelho having to interfere. Basílio Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Coelho having to interfere. Joaquim Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Melo in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Armando Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Américo Reis was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Américo Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Soares in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arrimal's Alexandre Ramos got a free kick in the 65th minute. Basílio Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Coelho having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arrimal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Porcelhe.
