Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Acafora's Rui Ferreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Vale having to make a save. After 10 minutes of play, Picoitos's Abel Nogueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Acafora's Bernardo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Pinheiro in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Acafora's zone, Abel Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Vale came out of the goal and Abel Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, SC Acafora's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Nogueira came free, but Bernardo Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Picoitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes SC Acafora got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Gonçalves. Abel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bernardo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário Leiria's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adelino Borba firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute of the match, Rui Ferreira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adelino Borba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The SC Acafora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Picoitos were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. Abel Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Vale having to make a save. Emílio Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Borba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emílio Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rui Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Borba having to interfere. Adelino Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Vale having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, SC Acafora's goalkeeper Bernardo Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Nogueira. Adelino Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Nunes in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, SC Acafora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Abel Nogueira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SC Acafora's Bernardo Vale. Bernardo Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrique Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Emílio Nunes made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Borba. Picoitos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 83rd minute, Mário Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Picoitos's Adelino Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Leiria in the 87th minute of play. Adelino Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Vale having to make a save. Emílio Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adelino Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Picoitos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
