Afonso Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Ricardo Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Gueifão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Lima having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SC Landiosa's Vasco Sousa got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of SC Landiosa booed when SC Benfeita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. André Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ricardo Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Landiosa. 93 minutes into the game, SC Landiosa's José Matias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
