If Bento Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Pacheco having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Quinhao FC's Bento Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Farrapa's goalkeeper Jorge Pacheco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Farrapa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Humberto Cruz hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Farrapa's goalkeeper Jorge Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Leão. Bento Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jorge Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oliveira Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Amílcar Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Quinhao FC's Adolfo Viana tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Miguel Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quinhao FC's Gustavo Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bento Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luís Morais fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farrapa's protests and gave Luís Morais a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

After 54 minutes, José Leiria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quinhao FC and the Farrapa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, José Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Farrapa's Domingos Torres managed to work through Quinhao FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Domingos Torres dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 57 played minutes Quinhao FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Veiga. Abel Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Miguel Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gustavo Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Pacheco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Oliveira Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
