Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ribalonga's Afonso Ferro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Soares in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Eusébio Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Afonso Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribalonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrique Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Eusébio Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Rocha having to interfere. Cristiano Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Eusébio Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ribalonga's Henrique Setúbal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vasco Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Amarelhe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Pacheco couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Borba's late challenge caught a SC Amarelhe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Borba helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Ribalonga got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Borba. When Diamantino Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Amarelhe's protests and gave Diamantino Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Eusébio Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Amarelhe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Trindade to make the kick off. After 57 minutes, André Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ribalonga and the SC Amarelhe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ribalonga! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Brás during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, Eusébio Trindade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristiano Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrique Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gil Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribalonga. After a rather tough play, Ribalonga's Humberto Bessa got a free kick in the 70th minute. Cristiano Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Pacheco in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ribalonga's Paulo Borba got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Eusébio Trindade notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ribalonga's Cristiano Rocha. Cristiano Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Trindade in the 79th minute of play forced Ribalonga's goalkeeper Cristiano Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Garcia having to interfere. Ribalonga's Cristiano Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Pacheco in the 86th minute of play. Afonso Ferro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Afonso Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gil Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Amarelhe had won after a very even match.
