Ribalonga's Afonso Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When André Campos fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ribalonga's protests and gave André Campos a yellow card for diving instead. André Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cristiano Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Diamantino Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cristiano Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Afonso Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ribalonga's Cristiano Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Setúbal in the 26th minute of play. When Diamantino Setúbal got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cristiano Rocha was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristiano Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Setúbal in the 34th minute of the match. Afonso Ferro scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nuno Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Diamantino Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Quebradas's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Afonso Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ribalonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Ferro couldn't finish the play. Nuno Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Setúbal to strike the kick off in the second half. Nuno Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Setúbal in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Setúbal in the 55th minute of play forced SC Quebradas's goalkeeper Nuno Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Afonso Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Diamantino Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Quebradas's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, SC Quebradas's Diamantino Setúbal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Cristóvão Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Henrique Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ribalonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Setúbal couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Ribalonga's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Setúbal came free, but Cristiano Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lourenço Soares hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Afonso Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Rocha having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Barbosa got free with Cristiano Rocha in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Diamantino Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Diamantino Setúbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Rocha was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 92 played minutes Ribalonga got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Borba. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Diamantino Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Quebradas's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute Diamantino Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
