Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Ferro kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes SC Fermentoes got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sousa. Afonso Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gil Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes, SC Fermentoes's Jorge Sousa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Rocha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Fermentoes reached it. In the 19th minute, Bento Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Rocha. Ribalonga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristiano Rocha came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Fermentoes's Vicente Oliveira. But to his dismay, Vicente Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, SC Fermentoes's Paulo Carneiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ribalonga's André Silva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gil Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Ferro in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, one of Ribalonga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ribalonga. Cristiano Rocha had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Mário Esteves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Ribalonga's Cristiano Rocha got control of the ball when Mário Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ribalonga's Cristiano Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Oliveira in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Vicente Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Bento Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Rocha. Ribalonga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Cristiano Rocha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joaquim Melo. Bento Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Oliveira in the 90th minute of the match. Mário Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Vicente Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Rocha having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Fermentoes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
