Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Esteves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedro Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sandro Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ricardo Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grandais's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Ferro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Grandais getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Paulo Santos hit a great ball. Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Antunes in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Grandais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Santos to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, José Vale notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Grandais's Carlos Torres. Carlos Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Torres was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Armindo Antunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armindo Antunes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Grandais's Ricardo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Armindo Antunes rounded Grandais's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience was convinced that José Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Torres was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Pedro Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Grandais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Esteves couldn't finish the play. Paulo Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armindo Antunes in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armindo Antunes to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Fernandes during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Casalao booed when Grandais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Antunes's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vale in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Aleixo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Aleixo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Grandais's Pedro Esteves got a free kick in the 66th minute. Carlos Aleixo got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 69 played minutes, SC Casalao's Tiago Valente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Casalao reached it. In the 77th minute, Óscar Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play, SC Casalao's Armindo Antunes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SC Casalao getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Simão Dias hit a great ball. Afonso Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. SC Casalao's Armindo Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97thth minute of the game José Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grandais's Carlos Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
