Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Luizeira's Manuel Coimbra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when António Marques elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nuno Ribeiro took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Matos. Lúcio Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 17th play minute António Marques came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Heitor Borba. 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Nuno Ribeiro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Edral FC's Lúcio Matos. Lúcio Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Luizeira's Heitor Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Luizeira from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Edral FC's Luís Jesus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Manuel Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lúcio Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Cunha made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Luizeira's Pedro Cardoso got a free kick in the 56th minute. Nuno Ribeiro scored 2-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Edral FC's Joaquim Morais got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Manuel Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Luizeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fernando Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Luizeira's protests and gave Fernando Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Fernando Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joaquim Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Edral FC's Vítor Moura seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vítor Moura the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Edral FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vítor Moura had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 76th minute, one of Edral FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edral FC. Joaquim Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Manuel Coimbra rounded Edral FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. When Gustavo Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Edral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Garcia couldn't finish the play. Pedro Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The SC Luizeira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Luizeira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
