Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Ramos made the kick off and thus started the match. After 7 played minutes Aiao got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Coelho. If Pedro Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Pires having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hugo Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beiroz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Setúbal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Pachecos short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Júlio Pires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Vasco Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aiao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beiroz FC the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aiao! In the 36th minute, Carlos Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Carlos Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Ricardo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beiroz FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Moreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Aiao's players had a chance to rest. The Aiao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beiroz FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Simões was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, António Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Aiao's Ricardo Simões made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Simões in the 65th minute of the match. Júlio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fábio Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Beiroz FC got a freekick which was hit by José Neves. When Ricardo Simões came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Aiao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Simões couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Beiroz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Júlio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Beiroz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Neves to maneuver through the defense. Beiroz FC's Júlio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pacheco in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Ricardo Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Júlio Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
