The SC Coico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Magalhães should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Baptista in the 28th minute of play forced Manhouce's goalkeeper Vicente Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cândido Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Moutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vicente Moutinho made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cândido Baptista sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Manhouce's Lucas Sousa got a free kick in the 41st minute. Filipe Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Baptista made a kick off. Filipe Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gabriel Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Magalhães having to interfere. Diogo Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ramos in the 67th minute of the match. If Cândido Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Baptista struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vicente Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Coico. 74 minutes into the match, Manhouce's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Baptista came free, but Vicente Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Diogo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
