Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gouviaes's Heitor Rodrigues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Carlos Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4thth minute of the game Cristiano Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gouviaes's Fábio Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heitor Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Moutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heitor Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Faro in the 11th minute of play. Alexandre Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Ficalho FC's zone, Gabriel Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Moutinho came out of the goal and Gabriel Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ficalho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Rodrigues came free, but Paulo Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Paulo Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Rodrigues in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gabriel Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gouviaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Faro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Pires hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Fernando Sousa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ficalho FC's Paulo Moutinho didn't even have to move. A collision led to Ficalho FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Miguel Araújo hit a great ball. Carlos Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Guarda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fábio Vale made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Carlos Guarda elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristiano Matos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Guarda in the 55th minute of play forced Gouviaes's goalkeeper Fábio Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ficalho FC's Carlos Guarda in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gouviaes's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ficalho FC's zone, Heitor Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Moutinho came out of the goal and Heitor Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Faro could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Paulo Moutinho however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Rodrigues in the 72nd minute of play forced Ficalho FC's goalkeeper Paulo Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Ficalho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Rodrigues came free, but Paulo Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gouviaes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. António Macedo hit a great ball. Ficalho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Pires in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Vale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Jaime Pires fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ficalho FC's protests and gave Jaime Pires a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Fernando Sousa in the 90th minute really tested Paulo Moutinho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The attack was good, but when Gabriel Faro in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gabriel Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Paulo Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Faro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Gabriel Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gouviaes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ficalho FC.
