In the 8th match minute, Rogel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Faro to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Ricardo Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Veiga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. António Aguiar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Vasco Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cristóvão Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rogel FC. Amendoais FC's Cristóvão Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Faro in the 21st minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Carlos Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amendoais FC's Cristóvão Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristiano Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Lopes. Amendoais FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rogel FC's Pedro Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Faro in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Silva to strike the kick off in the second half.
